The dreaded 3 of Swords I drew early in the morning and not glad to see it but knowing better than to ignore it, decided to clarify a bit and draw another, the 7 of Wands.
The 3 of Swords is a painful card. A heart sets against a stormy sky, pierced by 3 swords, the very picture of grief.
The 7 of Wands shows us a man defending himself,, standing up for himself. Holding his ground. They can attack him with words, actions or both but he’s on higher ground (the 7). He is in pain, he has been hurt, and defends his poor battered bloody heart with everything he’s got. These two have a lot to say between them.
I’d just finished studying and had started to write when I got word from the UK that my very dear friend, producer, mentor, confidante and rock legend Chris Tsangerides had died. 7 + 3 = 10 =1. The end of an era. Chris was a jolly, calming, joyful presence, a God in the realm of Heavy Metal and created a big, beautiful, loving family while here on Earth.
Rock on, my Dark Lord.
